Festival adventure leads to Sky News appearance

Bioglitter News

As adventures go, our trip to the ever popular Standon Calling festival turned out to be one of the best yet!

Our drive to Hertfordshire was certainly a lengthy one but upon our arrival, the fun started and we left with everybody talking about Bioglitter.

The main reason for the visit was to speak with our friends at Sky News. Sky were running a feature on the work festivals are doing to combat plastic pollution.

We were invited by Sky to speak about the Bioglitter and how many of the UK festivals are already moving from traders selling polyester glitter to our plant glitter, to help combat festival pollution and move to eco friendly alternatives.

Our commercial director Stephen Cotton was interviewed, along with Standon Calling’s festival director, and big supporter of Bioglitter, Alex Trenchard.

The interview with Stephen Cotton was superb and it went on to feature on both Sky and a whole range of radio stations and international news channels.

We want to thank Sky for giving us the chance to tell viewers about Bioglitter but also our friends at Standon Calling who are making huge steps in to removing plastic from the festival.
